About Us
We are a team of Four Unicorns who got together and...
Well...not exactly. We're not unicorns sadly. But we are four creative individuals who came together and realized we had the magic sauce needed to create, produce and write music for original stories and audio content.
Stories that we hope inspire kids and their grown ups to build their visualization and imagination skills and to have lots of fun listening along the way.

Meet The Team
Tanya Dougherty
Actor, Audiobook Narrator, Writer
Tanya is a New York City based actress and audiobook narrator with over 20 years of extensive experience in theater, teaching, voice work and puppeteering. She earned her BFA in Theatre Arts in her home country of Australia before moving over to the US to complete an MFA in Acting.
She has worked in children's programming in both Australia and the US and has created and performed hundreds of storytime shows in schools and libraries to help kids discover the joy of stories.
She is a co-founder of Cacophony Audio and has been a performer and puppeteer with the Mettawee River Theatre Company since 2011. Her audiobook work can be found on Audible.com.
Tanya is thrilled to be able to create stories for listeners everywhere that will ignite their imaginations.

Heather Hirshfield
Musician, Songwriter, Writer
Heather is a member of the children's band The Green Orbs. Their 2018 album Thumb Wrestling Champions was a Parent's Choice Silver Honor Winner and a song from that album, "Twelve Steps to Eating Your Veggies", was a finalist in the Independent Music Awards.
Aside from their original music, they can also be heard on YouTube as part of the YouTube Audio Library singing their versions of nursery rhymes and other children's classics.
Heather is also a private piano teacher, as well as an instructor for First Notes, a baby/toddler music class.
Her most important job, however, is being a Mom to her three beautiful daughters.
Heather earned her Bachelor of Arts in Education of the Deaf from The College of New Jersey and studied voice and piano for eleven years.
Rob McFadyen
Voice Actor, Writer, Director
Rob McFadyen is an Audie Award winning voice actor, writer, director, and co-founder of Cacophony Audio. He has appeared in hundreds of audiobooks, and has performed with the Mettawee River Theatre Company since 2012.
Rob holds an MFA in Acting from Brandeis University.
Edward Rosenberg III
Composer, Sound Designer, Writer
Edward Rosenberg III is a composer and performer currently residing in Brooklyn, NY. He studied saxophone at the Eastman School of Music and holds a PhD in composition from Stony Brook University. His freelance career has led him in a wide variety of directions, including playing jazz-metal with Kilter, writing children's music with The Green Orbs and conducting Oklahoma! on Broadway.
Edward also works as a composer and sound designer for podcasts.
